Shipping & Returns
At First Light Papery, each order is prepared with care and a little bit of magic. We want your happy mail to arrive safely and make its way to you as smoothly as possible.
Processing
Most items are made to order, please allow 3–5 business days for processing before your order ships.
Processing time is the time needed to prepare, make, pack, and send your order. Shipping time begins once your package has been dropped off with the carrier.
We do our best to get everything out as quickly and carefully as possible while making sure your order arrives just right.
Shipping
We currently ship within the United States.
Shipping is a flat $5 on orders under $36. Orders of $36 or more ship free.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information if available.
Please note that delivery times may vary based on carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control. First Light Papery is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier once the package has been handed off.
Local Pickup
First Light Papery is located in Chelmsford, MA. If you are local and would prefer to pick up your order please select PICKUP when checking out. Once your order is processed Danielle will reach out to you to arrange pickup.
Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs needed to resend the package.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once a package has been marked as shipped, it is in the hands of the carrier.
If your package appears lost, delayed, or marked as delivered but cannot be found, please first contact the shipping carrier directly. If you still need help after that, feel free to reach out at firstlightpapery@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist.
Returns
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged or there is an error with your order.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at firstlightpapery@gmail.com.
Please include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.
Once reviewed, we will work with you to make it right.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, as long as they have not already been processed or shipped.
If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at firstlightpapery@gmail.com.
